Sviva Israel's flagship program partners schools in the same city or in cities across the ocean to learn together how they impact the environment. The curriculum includes lessons on our Ecological Footprint; Reduce, Reuse, Recycle; Jewish Environmental traditions and Israeli Clean-Tech innovations.
Students become bloggers on their very own bilingual cooperative blog, documenting and highlighting activities that are integrated into the classroom activities.
The success of this project, which has already been implemented in 42 schools in Jerusalem, Arad, Kibbutz Ein Gedi, New Jersey, Delaware, Beit Shemesh and New York, represents the tip of the iceberg in our potential to create real partnerships between young people throughout the world to promote sustainable development and Jewish values.
