The Eco Connection

Sviva Israel's flagship program partners schools in the same city or in cities across the ocean to learn together how they impact the environment. The curriculum includes lessons on our Ecological Footprint; Reduce, Reuse, Recycle;  Jewish Environmental traditions and Israeli Clean-Tech innovations.

Students become bloggers on their very own bilingual cooperative blog, documenting and highlighting activities that are integrated into the classroom activities.

The success of this project, which has already been implemented in 42 schools in Jerusalem, Arad, Kibbutz Ein Gedi, New Jersey, Delaware, Beit Shemesh and New York, represents the tip of the iceberg in our potential to create real partnerships between young people throughout the world to promote sustainable development and Jewish values.

Bringing together students from across the globe on a joint online project, we forge lasting connections of young people and educators working together to solve a global concern.

Rated by the Jewish Agency for Israel Partnership 2000, as one of their 50 leading programs.
